Caretaker’s Job Description.   Ensure the security, safe operation, and upkeep of the Park 400 Camping Club. This position involves caretaking duties across three main buildings (Clubhouse, Comfort Station, and Storage building), one swimming pool, and the Park’s utility systems (roads, water, septic, garbage, and electrical).  Additionally, the Caretaker’s interface with Association members to provide appropriate assistance within their scope of duties and assist the President of the Association with rule and Bylaw enforcement.  The Caretakers are expected to maintain access control to the Camping Club, keep the common grounds tidy, ensure the Clubhouse and Comfort Station are clean and presentable, maintain the pool’s chemical balance, and monitor the Park’s water system.  Conduct minor repairs, identify maintenance requirements outside their scope of duties, and monitor maintenance contractors’ operating within the camping club.  Conduct daily walk arounds of the camping club to ensure security, monitor the camping club systems, and monitor member use if the camping club. Perform various duties as may be directed by the President or as needed to keep the camping club operating smoothly and within applicable rules, policies, and laws. Living and working in the Camping Club as the sole employee(s) of the Association and direct representative of the President of the Association makes trustworthiness, initiative, and the ability to get along with members essential.  A good service ethos, energetic attitude towards your work and people, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize is also essential.
